With the last month of 2018 upon us and the winter cold outside, all it is left for us to do is to do a recap of the year and become a bit more creative.

In the end of the month we held our annual “Bewinged” award voting at forum.skynomad.net.

After a 2 stage vote this years Bewinged was elected by the bulgarian paragliding community as Petyo Kiurkchiiski.

Petyo is a key figure in the development of paragliding and general aviation in SW Bulgaria and mainly in the Duptintsa and Rila regions.

This year thanks to a lot of effort and persistent work Petyo managed to develop a new takeoff site near Dupnitsa – Ostrogan which will be the host of the 2019 Bulgarian National Open.

Congratulations to Petyo and keep being – bewinged!
