Happy New Year 2019!

The new 2019 started very exciting for Ivelin Kalushkov who managed to beat one of the old Bulgarian National gliding records in the first day of the year.

After an almost 8 hour flight and a total distance of 575 km , Ivelin set a new FAI triangle record beating the old 533 km with 555 km. triangle distance.

Altough the record was set in the Australian skies – that still makes it a valid national record.

A good start of the year.

And while winter is in full blast in the North hemisphere – Nikolay Yotov is getting ready for yet another expedition to Kenya and Ethiopia.
