In the fist week of May, Skynomad along with the Bulgarian National Aero Club and the Bulgarian Paragliding Commision organized the fist competition for the season.

“PG spring XC meeting”. 

The friendlty competition had the aim to bring together bulgarian and foreign pilots for a warm-up session of competition tasks arround the Sopot valley.

The competition was succcesfull despite the complexety of the weather conditions.

May was also a good month for our new coming pilots. A total of 7 new pilots took to the skies with our beginners paragliding courses. Amongst them the youngest pilot in Bulgaria currently – Boris – at the age of 14. Boris managed outtandingly in his solo flights, but had the bennefit of carrying his parents flying genes – coming from a family of well know paragliding pilots.

And at the end of May the usual spring rain showers started making the atmosphere a bit more smooth and wet. Looking forwad to the dry summer.
