As 2022 comes to an end we recap our season.
Well, what can we say as usual 2022 was a wild ride.
The weather was tricky but also provided for some very beautiful views and a start of the season which looked almost magical
The active season is making place for the winter months but despite the crazy world we have been living in, this year was still full of flying, new frinds and new and old horizons to fly to.
... we added more flying friends to our flock. Both beginners courses were filled up with new faces from all around the world, united in the desire to fly.
Our students from France, USA, Bulgaria, UK, Germany, Holland, Belgium and Sweden made June very colorfull and fun for everyone and of course full of flying!
In the fist week of May, Skynomad along with the Bulgarian National Aero Club and the Bulgarian Paragliding Commision organized the fist competition for the season.
"PG spring XC meeting".
The friendlty competition had the aim to bring together bulgarian and foreign pilots for a warm-up session of competition tasks arround the Sopot valley.
The competition was succcesfull despite the complexety of the weather conditions.
April came with stable and reliable weather. Mild temperatures and light wind conditions made it possible to our 2 groups of beginners to succesfully finish their courses and join the flock of the new paragliding pilots for the month.
October - a festival of colors and warmth.
Autumn sets in and with it the forest in the mountain above Sopot explodes with colors yet again.
Not much time to look at them tough because we're letting our big flocks of beginner birds enjoy them instead.
September welcomed us with warm weather and still exceptional XC weather for the first 2 weeks.
Our frinds from the UK, Israel and Romania flew every day often stacking flights of over 100 km in consecutive days.
Amazing convergence lines and high cloudbase allowed us to fly to the W over the steep main ridge of Stara Planina to discover the Beauty of the Zlatitsa valley.
August came, and with it the best days of the season started.
Cloudbase rised up to over 3500 meters and our regular Finnish friends managed to enjoy some amazing flying days with XC flights well in exess of 100 km.
Sopot delivered good flying almost every day, and for the few days of NE winds Dobrostan welcomed us for some additional flying.
June has gone by an while the world is still going mad about the Covid19, our new students got the super contaigious "flying virus".
The symptoms of the "Flying Virus" include:
- Lack of fear from heights
- Constant urge to look at forecasts
- Uncontrolable desire to fly
- Persistent desire for climbing hills and mountains and flying off them.
September came, autumn startet knocking on the door, but the summer had no intention to leave! 
We started the month with our good from the "Condors"club from the UK.
The weather was really good and unusually dry for the season. This provided for exceptional weather for the 2 weeks the "Condors"were visiting us! We had only 1 unflyable day due to strong winds.
June brought us some interesting weather.
Form the occasional June storms to the mountain waves and the magic lift soaring for all the happy students.
