February 2019

With the winter lаying down layer upon layer of snow in Bulgaria, Nikolay Yotov set out to yet another expedition to Kenya and Ethiopia.

Niki and a group of foreign pilots managed to discover 2 new takeoffs and to do some nice flights.

One of the previous years XC routes was flown multiple times with 5000 meter cloudbase.

Niki compiled 2 photo slideshows from his trips:

December 2018

With the last month of 2018 upon us and the winter cold outside, all it is left for us to do is to do a recap of the year and become a bit more creative.

Niki Yotov made a few beautiful picture slideshows from some of our November adventures with students which you can review here:

November 2018

The winter inversions started creeping in the valleys and the first snow came shortly after - with Sopot takeoff covered in snow and the usual winter mists the only thing left to do was practice our spot landings.

Some club members decided to join the Sopot Accuracy Open - spot landing competition that took place in mid November.

One competition day with 5 rounds was held.

First time competing - our club member Vanya Radulova managed to take 3-rd place in the women category!

October 2018

It seemed that the summer didn't wanted to end this year.

October provided the perfect conditions for training and amazingly even samall cross country flying for the eager flocks of new birds that joined us in the beginners and intermediate courses.

More than 20 students took to the skies and discovered the beautiful new world of paragliding.

September 2018

With the last sunny days of the Summer came and the annual "Finnish Invasion" of Sopot.

Our frinds from Helsinki were again arround and about managing to make some nice flights in the valley and beyond making the best of the good autumn conditions.

Due to the persistent NE winds some interesting routes were possible to the SW of Sopot in the rarely flown southern slopes of Sredna Gora.
