The motto of our paragliding holidays is fly more, fly different! Thus we follow certain program but also improvise according to the weather.
Our tours can be easily adjusted to fit your free time but see our full 12 days sample Bulgaria Sky Discovery Tour:
Day 1: Arriving at Varna or Burgas airport. Accommodation at seacoast area. Sunbathing, swimming in the sea or in hot mineral water springs. Introduction to local clubs, pubs, restaurants etc.
Day 2: Short tour to museums (see the Oldest Golden Treasure in the World), natural phenomena (Pobitite Kamani) and other interesting places. Long soaring flights at Black Sea coast area until sunset. Nightlife tour in Varna and local sea resorts.
Day 3: Going to Shumen area (80 km west from Varna). Flatland flying from 200-300 m high hills. Visits to the over 1000 years old Bulgarian capital (Pliska) and other ancient places (Madara, Preslav...). Accommodation in the Shumen area.
Day 4: Going to Aitos (100 km south from Shumen) and Sliven area for flatland and mountain flying. Continuing to Central Balkan area (150 km west from Sliven) and accommodation in Sopot.
Day 5: Mountain flying in the premium Bulgarian flying site - Sopot. Bathing in the neighboring hot mineral water spa resorts and visits to some traditional (old Bulgarian architecture towns) and historical places (Thracian tombs, Roman ruins...). Accommodation in Sopot.
Day 6: Going to Vratza and Montana area (200 km northwest from Sopot) and flying the mountain sites (Beklemeto, Zlatitza, Okolchitza) on our way. Accommodation in Montana or Vratza.
Day 7: Short trip to Belogradchik area. Flying other superb flatland and mountain sites (Pastrina, Kom, Okolchitza). Accommodation in Sofia (100 km south from Montana) and the obligatory nightlife tour :-)
Day 8: Short city tour to Sofia and mountain or flatland flying from the neighboring sites (Vitosha, Rasnik, Koniavo) or from highest Balkan mountain - Rila. Trip to the famous Rila Monastery. Accommodation in Sapareva Banya (100 km south from Sofia). Relax in hot mineral water pools.
Day 9: Alpine flying from the beautiful Pirin mountain (2900 m amsl high peaks). Accommodation in Bansko (100 km south from Sapareva Banya).
Day 10: Flying in the magic Rhodope mountain. Exploring the Yagodina cave and Trigrad canyon. Accommodation in the second biggest Bulgarian town - Plovdiv (200 km east from Bansko) and nightlife tour.
Day 11: City and shopping tour in Plovdiv. More flights in Rhodope mountain and 200 km long trip to Black Sea coast. Accommodation in seacoast area.
Day 12: Departure back home from Varna or Burgas airport.
Depending on weather and your available free time this program can be changed, shortened and prolonged in order to give you most flying and enjoyment.
